Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FindWildlife (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit findwildlife.net (the “Site”). We've kept it short and plain because we collect very little.

Information we collect

Analytics. We use Cloudflare's privacy-first, cookieless web analytics to understand how the Site is used — for example, which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across other websites. Data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.

Server logs. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and protect the Site, as described in its own privacy policy.

Preferences. We store some settings in your browser's local storage — such as your light/dark theme choice and your last filters — so the Site works the way you left it. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.

We do not require you to create an account to browse, and we do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

The Site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party services

The Site is served through hosting and infrastructure providers, uses map tiles to display destinations, and links out to third-party travel operators and retailers. When you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy policy governs your visit. We encourage you to review it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little personal data, this usually just means any email correspondence. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above.
