Andasibe-Mantadia National Park is Madagascar's classic first rainforest destination, combining relatively easy access from Antananarivo with some of the island's most iconic wildlife, especially indri, nocturnal lemurs, chameleons, frogs, and excellent guide-led forest walks. It is strongest for travelers who want a highly rewarding introduction to Madagascar's endemic wildlife without committing to the country's hardest logistics.
