Ranomafana National Park is one of Madagascar's richest rainforest destinations, known for exceptional biodiversity, dense montane forest, numerous lemur species, superb herping, and strong birding. It is strongest for naturalists who want a deeper, biologically richer park than the easiest Madagascar options, while accepting that wildlife viewing and photography are often more challenging in thick forest.
