Bale Mountains National Park is one of Africa's most unusual highland wildlife destinations, combining Afroalpine moorland, cloud forest, dramatic escarpments, and an extraordinary concentration of Ethiopian endemics. It is strongest for naturalists, birders, and wildlife photographers who value unique mammals such as Ethiopian wolf and mountain nyala more than classic safari-style abundance.
