Tangkoko Nature Reserve is one of the best and easiest places to see Sulawesi endemics, especially black crested macaques and spectral tarsiers. The combination of volcanic lowland forest and concentrated endemic wildlife makes it a standout for short focused trips in northern Sulawesi.
