Way Kambas National Park is a lowland Sumatran rainforest and swamp-forest destination known among birders for white-winged duck, night birds, hornbills, pittas, and rare mammals including tapir, sun bear, elephants, and Sumatran rhino habitat. It is more of a specialist birding and nocturnal wildlife site than a reliable big-mammal safari.
